William Rast for Target!

We sure didn’t see this one coming: Target inked a deal with William Rast to design a collection for its next designer collaboration series. The collection, founded by Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala, will include both women’s and men’s clothing. “The collection for Target was inspired by the essence of the William Rast brand – the iconography of biker culture and American denim heritage,” said Colin Dyne, from William Rast. Price points are still under wraps but it’s sure to be way more affordable than the brand’s namesake $95 to $595 collection. The line hits stores and online on Dec. 19.

The Look For Less: Diane von Furstenberg Opal Wedge Sandals

Summer sandals are high on my list of shopping priorities. While I already have a few in steady rotation, the warm sun is making me itch for a new pair. These Diane von Furstenberg Opal Wedge Sandals ($295), are calling my name. I love the simple crisscross design and the wedge platform looks fairly comfy. However, I don’t want to spend that much moola on something I don’t really, really need . . . To see the look for less, read more. This Steve Madden Riddgge Sandal ($89), is pretty close to the real thing. The wedge isn’t as architectural, but the crisscross straps are spot-on. More importantly, the price is right.
